Larford Lakes Commercial Feeder Championship Tuesday 17th October- 20th October 2023

60 anglers were booked on for this popular 4 day feeder only festival here at Larford Lakes.
Each angler drew daily for 2 days on the Specimen / Arena Lakes and 2 days on the Match Lake.
The festival was scored by way of points with overall weight deciding in the event of a points tie.
On the main, method or hybrid feeders loaded with either micro pellet or ground bait was the main plan of attack. Hook baits being waffters, meat or dead reds being the most popular baits on all the lakes.
Considering the conditions, weights were impressive with a number of 200+lbs weights and plenty of 100lbs weights required to win a section.
Overall winner for the second year running was Alex Walker with a 5 point overall score and cumulative weight of 508-5-0lbs
Second overall was Andy Findlay with a 6 point score and total weight of 529lbs 14oz.
Third overall was Jason Dunworth with a 7 point score and total weight of 458-10-0.
Fourth overall went to Neil Colcombe with 423-2-0 and a 7 point score.
Fifth to frame was Max Higgott with 536lbs, 11oz and a point score of 8.
