Larford Commercial Feeder Championship

Match & Specimen Lakes
Tuesday 15th – Friday 18th October 2024

46 anglers participated in the popular 4 day feeder festival at Larford Lakes, fished on both the Specimen and Match Lakes.

Some big carp were hooked on the Specimen Lake and plenty of carp and F1’s from the Match Lake.

Each angler fished one day on the Match Grass, on day on the Match Burr and the final 2 days on the Specimen Burr and Chalet Bank.

This years feeder festival was decided by overall weight and weighed in kilos.

Winner overall was Andy Findlay who fished a near perfect festival. Andy went into the final day over 60kg in front of his nearest rival but despite a difficult last day, managed to hold onto his lead, collecting £1500 and the festival title.

Second placed Neil Colcombe fished a brilliant festival, weighing in 199-635Kgs after his final Friday weigh in, reducing Andy’s comfortable lead to just 7.075kgs. Neil collected £1100.

Third overall was Max Higgott, weighing in a total of 173.100kgs. Max landed a number of specimen carp from the big lake, backed up with steady weights off the Match Burr and grass bank. Max collected £900 for his third place.

Fourth to frame was Tony Morris with a total weight of 154.700kgs.

Fifth place went to Paul Twigg with 150.625 and sixth place to Dave Hughes with 149.365.
Steve Rocke was 7th with 149.100 and would have won the festival if it had been scored by way of points.

Brilliant festival, and everyone happy, roll on the 2025 commercial feeder championship.
