European Pole Championship 21st August 2016

33 Anglers completed the Larford Lakes European Pole Championship on the Specimen Lake.

 

Conditions had strong gusty winds & some showers.

 

 

1st on the day, Max Galaszewski (Larford) & (PR Floats) who drew peg 15 on the Specimen Lake burr.

Max started pole fishing at 13m with pellet landing quality carp & bream.

Later switching to his edge, Max found large carp to ground bait and meat to finish the day with 174-12-00.

 

2nd on the day was Mark Hawthorne (Larford) who drew peg 18.

Fishing the pole long with pellet, Mark caught steadily landing quality carp & bream.

Later switching to his edge with double corn to finish the day with 162-05-00

 

3rd placed Ray Lamb (Larford) drew peg 12 landing 143-11-00 to pole & meat at five meters.

 

4th on the day was Neil Colombe (Larford) who drew peg 9, landing 118-00-00 to pole at 13m & meat short at 5m.

 

5th placed Phil Reynolds (PR Floats) drew peg 67 landing 100-14-00 to pole at 5m with meat .

 

6th on the day was Ricky Salmon (Burt Baits) who drew Peg 52 weighing in 100-04-00 to pole & meat.

 

2nd placed mark Hawthorne with an 18lb carp which helped him to 2nd overall in the larford lakes european pole championship
